Will You Be My Valentine? Part 1

Intro

For my post this week it will be different because it won't have anything to do with fashion or makeup. If you were looking forward to a valentines day makeup look check out Naomi's tutorial:)  It's like a slight change to shake up this blog, once in a while.  As you have seen my Beauty in a Teen's View tab, this blog post will be similar to it. 

My Valentine 

       Soo, this year I have become a freshman; I don't feel any different from when I was in second grade.  Unfortunately, I guess you can say time goes quickly.  From 6th until now the pressure of boys have gotten so much heavier.  Like, I really didn't care then and I don't care now but boys are what people only talk about these days.  

       It is like you HAVE to have a boyfriend or something.  If you don't then you are this weird loser who is a nerd and a loner.  Okay (Hold up), first of all I am not a nerdy loser, people!  I just don't want I boyfriend and I think I am too young.  (Can you guys relate?)  I think maturity shows if you are ready to date or not.  Like me...I am not mature enough to even talk to guys.  (Hehe jk but for real) This valentine I do dream of having a valentine with having a mysterious boy... giving me a note saying, "Will you be my valentine?" The story would go something like this...

Heart to Heart

       It was four days before Valentines Day and you don't expect anything.  As usual all the boys are drooling over the ones with THE looks.  The last period bell rings and you slowly walk out to your locker, thinking of the much homework you have to finish. 32 (two turns) ...31 (one turn) ...12 The click of your lock opens the door; a white paper falls softly down to your feet.  You guess it is a little note from your mom reminding of important dates or something like that.  

       Your hand reaches for the note and flips it...As though time has stopped when you smile, it lights my day up - your admirer.  Your ponytail swings back and forth to see anyone playing a trick but almost all of the kids have gone home and few were left keeping business to themselves.  At first, you feel a warm bubble of happiness spread through your stomach but the feeling is taken away by reality.  You know this kind of romance would never happen to you. Before throwing it away, you glance at it one more time before tossing it in the trash.  You walk home to think of the note and what the mesmerizing words made you feel.

       The next morning you forgot happened yesterday and the day flies by to lunch.  You take out your homelunch and sit down with your friends to start socializing   As usual, everyone is talking about what they are going to do over break or other non sense.  While you half listen, you day dream of what the future is going to be, as a hand clasps you shoulder.

       The hand feels warm and inviting so you turn to see someone but the warm hand disappears with only brown hair to show walking away into the crowded lunch room.  Some of your friends look at you with a mischievous smile while others just ignore what just happened.  The strange incident reminds you of the note when a buzzing rings in your ear.  You take your phone out to see a number from your area code.  You open the text to see...to be continued

Mini Beauty Haul

Intro

 I have exciting news...yayayayay!  So my mom and I went to City Creek for poops and giggles just to look at new makeup.  I was dying to look at Sephora so I persuaded my mom and dragged her into the store.

 Let me tell you, she first didn't want to go because their perfume for the store gave her a "headache" (puhhhlease mom) but later she started to dig it.  The most embarrassing part was when she went up to the store owner and said "So my daughter doesn't put make up on, can you do professional makeup on her?"  Like, I don't need instructions on how to put make up on! (Geez mom hehe still love ya)  The store owner like looked at me like I was a hot mess and went over to the blonde make up artist.  The snotty makeup artist came up to us and was like "umm...the make over is totally like $50 soooo yaa"  My mom turned that deal down real fast.  Anyways I didn't get a makeover (whew) but my mom magically bought some awesome Sephora makeup. Let's get started!

Item #1

The first item I was fortunately received was the Urban Decay Naked Pallet 3!!!! Let me tell you that I did NOT think I was going to get this pallet.  First, this eyeshadow pallet is $53 dollars.  There were only four left in stock at the store we were at.

This pallet contains many sparkly eyeshadows and some matt colors that I will forever use.  I hope to use this pallet until it is empty and want to buy more.  So far, I have been in love with these eye shadows!

Item #2

The second item is my new Dior mascara which is called Diorshow Iconic Overcurl.  The flaw with my eyelashes are being stubborn for straightness.  The drugstore mascaras somewhat work on my eyelashes until like three hours later it disappears and forgets to hold the curl.  With this new mascara, it holds my curl and will stay on for the whole day.  The only set back is it costs $25 poopin dollars 0.0

Item #3-5  

These three items are all Essie nail polish so I decided to group them together. Alright guys, I give kudos to my friend Olivia for introducing this wonderful nail polish.  It comes out pretty nice and smooooth without any missed lines of the nails. (Yes yes)  Pssst...one caution, this nail polish only stays on for three days then the rest are just chipping of your nails.

Item #6

The sixth and last item is my Korean inspired headband. This headband may look new to you but I finally found this in a local store.  Like, in Korea it is totally in! Hehehe, but it was love at first sight when I found these headbands at Forever 21.  I wore them today at school and thought I was going to be critizied but my friends actually liked it.  Thanks guys:)
