"What you know about me?"

"What you know about me?"

Intro

Hello! This is your blogger Tushig and Happy Valentines Day!  No, I am not going to show you a Valentines Day Look because it is too late but today I will be showing you an easy but gorgeous looking hair style.  I named it after a song because this week I have been obsessed, I  even made a dance to it ("What you know about me?").   This is mainly girls with long hair but if you short hair, go for it no one is holding you back.  Yes yes...let's get started.

What you will need:

  • a hair band
  • couple of bobby pins (ones that are closest to your hair color)
  • hairspray (if you want)
  • a sassy attitude (duh!)

First

Brush your hair so all the nasty tangles are out.  You can skip this step if you are bbblllessseedd with not tangled hair (I'm jealous).

Second

Take a small amount of hair just below your ear.  This will be the hair that will be the "headband braid." Take this part of hair and start braiding it (Hint: hold up your hair while braiding so when you pull over your piece of hair, it wont look all bumpy and strange).

Third

After finishing the braid, pull it over your head and secure the braid with bobby pins.  I recommend a few bobby pins to keep it in place.

Fourth

Take the remaining hair and pull it over to one side (which preferred side you want). Now we are going to braid it (fishtail)...yayayaay.  Okay so if you don't know how to fish tail braid then I will be a nice and show you how.  You first want to split your of hair into two sections.  Let's call these two sections A and B (Section A is the left strand and section B is the right strand).  You take a small piece of hair from section A and move it across to section B.  Then you take a small piece of hair from section B to section A.  After that you pretty much do the same thing until you run out of hair.  Congratulation! Now you know how to fish tail braid :)

First split two strands

Take a small chunk from section A

Move the chunk to section B

Take some chunk from section B
Add it on to section A

Fifth

This is the finished look of the "What you know about me?"  If you want a long lasting look, I would would spray a few spritz of hairspray.   I hope you enjoyed it the new look and as always...stay beautiful:)

Mini Beauty Haul

Intro

I have exciting news...yayayayay!  So my mom and I went to City Creek for poops and giggles just to look at new makeup.  I was dying to look at Sephora so I persuaded my mom and dragged her into the store.

Let me tell you, she first didn't want to go because their perfume for the store gave her a "headache" (puhhhlease mom) but later she started to dig it.  The most embarrassing part was when she went up to the store owner and said "So my daughter doesn't put make up on, can you do professional makeup on her?"  Like, I don't need instructions on how to put make up on! (Geez mom hehe still love ya)  The store owner like looked at me like I was a hot mess and went over to the blonde make up artist.  The snotty makeup artist came up to us and was like "umm...the make over is totally like $50 soooo yaa"  My mom turned that deal down real fast.  Anyways I didn't get a makeover (whew) but my mom magically bought some awesome Sephora makeup. Let's get started!

Item #1

The first item I was fortunately received was the Urban Decay Naked Pallet 3!!!! Let me tell you that I did NOT think I was going to get this pallet.  First, this eyeshadow pallet is $53 dollars.  There were only four left in stock at the store we were at.

This pallet contains many sparkly eyeshadows and some matt colors that I will forever use.  I hope to use this pallet until it is empty and want to buy more.  So far, I have been in love with these eye shadows!

Item #2

The second item is my new Dior mascara which is called Diorshow Iconic Overcurl.  The flaw with my eyelashes are being stubborn for straightness.  The drugstore mascaras somewhat work on my eyelashes until like three hours later it disappears and forgets to hold the curl.  With this new mascara, it holds my curl and will stay on for the whole day.  The only set back is it costs $25 poopin dollars 0.0
My Favorite Mascara

Item #3-5

These three items are all Essie nail polish so I decided to group them together. Alright guys, I give kudos to my friend Olivia for introducing this wonderful nail polish.  It comes out pretty nice and smooooth without any missed lines of the nails. (Yes yes)  Pssst...one caution, this nail polish only stays on for three days then the rest are just chipping of your nails.

Sunday Funday

Item #6

The sixth and last item is my Korean inspired headband. This headband may look new to you but I finally found this in a local store.  Like, in Korea it is totally in! Hehehe, but it was love at first sight when I found these headbands at Forever 21.  I wore them today at school and thought I was going to be critizied but my friends actually liked it.  Thanks guys:)

#Selfie

I look too happy

Hope you enjoyed the mini haul and here is a link to Sephora to look at all their new makeup!  Also here is a link to Forever 21 for the hairband; have a great day and stay beautiful :P

The Hectic Holidays needs a Make Up Tutorial

Beauty in a Personal Perspective

Lately, I have been struggling with shopping.  Yes, I may sound like I'm a shopaholic but don't worry I'm not. (Or at least I don't think I am.)  Anyways, shopping... especially shopping for new clothes is the best feeling in the world.  It gives you joy and it enhances your level of fashion.  I don't shop often but I have found my self wrapped in spending enormous amount of money for no reason at all.  Just this week I spent eleven dollars on beauty products.  (That's right eleeeven dollars!)  Hours later did I only notice I spent money on expensive products but I accidentally bought a bronzer that was four dollars.  When I was shopping, I was a big headed teenager thinking I needed a golden shadow pallet. (Especially if the brand was Elf)  The funny thing was, my mind was preoccupied to glance at the big letters screaming Golden Bronzer.  Yes, I learned my lesson on reading labels and paying attention.  Sorry, I will let you go onto the actual tutorial.  Enjoy!

Intro

Hey guys, I am recovering from eating turkey yesterday but don't worry today I will be showing you a holiday make up tutorial. Yes, it is definitely that time of year again. I think this look is pretty simple and of course it doesn't need a huge amount of time.  I will name it The Hectic Holiday Make Up Look.  Let's get started!

First

Apply any kind of foundation or bb cream for the start of the face.  For me I don't like using any kind of that stuff (besides my mother would never allow me to) but here I am just moisturizing my skin with lotion.. yay.
Me being a dork

Second

I am using the Revlon Colorstay (Smoky Shadow Stick) Torch Incendiaire.  Apply the lighter color as the base of your eyeshadow.  Starting from the middle of your eyelid, softly apply the darker shade of the shadow stick.  From the middle, gradually apply the eyeshadow until the end of your eyelid. (Tip: I like to blend the lighter and darker shades together to make it appear smoky.)

Third

To make your eyes appear wide awake, add a light sparkling color to the corners of your eyes.  (Warning: Do not apply the eyeshadow too close to your inner canthus or it will make your eyes itch and appear red.  Trust me this happened to me before attending a birthday party and I turned out to be a zombie.)  For this tutorial I am using The One Sweep Eye Shadow by Loreal Paris.

I used the lightest shade

Fourth

Curl your pretty eyelashes and add your favorite mascara.  I have to admit my eyelashes are remarkably short.  I wasn't blessed with doll like lashes so I have to add extra coat of mascara for people to notice.  Sigh...the things I long for.  Good thing there is makeup for us to enhance our beauty!  I bought this new mascara called The Falsies Big Eyes by Maybelline.  I love the idea of having two separate brushes for upper and lower lashes.  Unfortunately, the upper lash mascara clumps my eyelashes...seriously.

The Falsies Big Eyes

Fifth

I skipped the blush part because my cheeks are already red and puffy so they don't need to be emphasized.  If you want to you can add some blush.

Sixth

The last step is to use a neutral or clear lip product for your lips.  You want more emphasis on your eyes not your lips.  I am using just Chapstick with a candy cane scent.

Smells yummilicious

This is the finished look for the natural yet festive makeup tutorial for the holidays.  I am the type of person to not go all out on my makeup but to not stay too bland.  Keep eating delicious food and have fun.  I hope you guys liked it:)  Stay beautiful!
